The Business Services Group connects the knowledge resources of the University of Nevada, Reno to the needs of our businesses, industries, and government – to grow and strengthen our communities. It is where the Land-grant University and the business community connect to provide solutions, share expertise, develop opportunities and create strategic partnerships. Create change. We recognize a new paradigm in economic development, in which the key drivers of progress are the partnerships between business, industry, and government. Therefore, we strive to become the most powerful economic development resource in the state by making it easier for you to find the tools you need and the answers you seek, and to create sustainable partnerships.

The University of Nevada, Reno has multiple programs that provide a wide array of services to our community. Each program has a physical location, staff, and is now connected to the Business Services Group’s web portal (unrbiz.org) in our Resource Database. Our portal uses new media tools to serve the local, rural, national and global business communities in real time – 24/7/365. We will track our inquiries to ensure timely follow-up with the answers you need and we plan to create a physical location where we can easily meet the community and direct visitors to the University resources they require.

The Business Services Group facilitates internship opportunities for the best and brightest students across disciplines to learn and apply their increasing skills in real world business and civic applications.
